In today’s environment, Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities face a constantly changing set of security risks and threats, including Active Shooters, Unwanted Intruders, and Workplace Violence. These incidents are unpredictable and can evolve rapidly.

This 2-hour interactive webinar will provide you with the tools to recognize warning signs, react promptly, and survive an active shooter situation.

Our goal is to educate all employees, staff, and administrators on the proper response to active shooters, active threats, illegal intruders, and workplace violence incidents in your facility and provide them with the tactics necessary to protect themselves, their students, and employees.

Zoom information and student guide are included in your order confirmation.

Each operator must be able to log into Zoom individually with a single device for Contact Hours**.

Prior to class, attendees will need their own zoom account which includes their own name, phone number and email address. Multiple accounts can not be made with the same email address.

Attendees can use a computer, phone, or tablet to attend program, however, for the best experience, a device with a web cam and speaker is best.

**Attendees can share a computer for viewing. But, each attendee must also be logged into their own account on a device (e.g. View on computer at the plant as a group, but also log into Zoom individually with your phone). Attendees must individually answer periodic poll questions and take quizzes during program. This is necessary to verify attendance and participation. This will involve typing into a device.

Dealing with Angry People and Stress & Worker Safety: This course provides awareness of those things which may cause anger and discontentment on those with whom you deal on a daily basis and methods to defuse situations and achieve good results. Part 2 provides understanding of the types of daily stressors functioning in a worker’s life and the means to address various types to reduce injury and illness in the workplace.

Active Shooter/Workplace Violence: The course educates the proper response to active shooters, active threats, illegal intruders, and workplace violence incidents in your facility and provide you with the tactics necessary to protect yourself and co-workers.
